You’ve activated the Extron, hit Start, waited for the fan to turn on and then off. You hit the Laptop icon on the Extron and connected the laptop to the OVA system via an HDMI cable. All you see is a blank movie screen in light purple. You checked your cable connections and hit a different Extron icon then the Laptop icon as well as the cable connector icon and still nothing. Now what?
Fix: Reboot and watch the upper left corner of the movie screen looking for the error message, “NO SIGNAL“. It is there only but a few seconds.
If that message appears, this port is dead.
Connect to another HDMI port in the room.

- Wall by Rack
- Wall by Doors
- one in the Conference Room (no choice, no remedy)
- three in the Multi-Purpose Room
If all ports return the No Signal message, contact Maintenance.
If they cannot resolve it, Colin Hannigan will need to be contacted (M-F, 9-5).
